Though many Knights of Truth will be promoted by the Truthsquare in the future, we have decided to name 12 Guardian Knights of Truth at the very launch of the site. It was very hard to select 12 personalities from a long list of people, who left an epoch-making imprint on human civilization: Aristotle (especially since we use his "square of opposition" in our site to test the Truth), Confucius, William Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Bernard Shaw, Sir Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln, Giordano Bruno, Dmitryi Mendeleev, Alexander Pushkin, Plato, Jerome David Salinger, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, John Maynard Keynes, Maria-Theresia of Austria, Nelson Mandela, Marie Curie, Margaret Thatcher, and many many others - all of them have done something unique, something unparalleled.
In order to select 12 honorable Guardian Knights of Truth, we guided ourselves by the following principles: - avoid politicians, as politicians are always controversial, though we can't live without them; - promotion of eternal values and discoveries, universality and spirituality; - choose those, who acted and lived their lives with tenacity, dedication and passion working for the victory of truth, for a just humanity, for a better world.
Again, anyone can be here, you can be here, a random man from the street can be here, me. But we have selected the following personalities being convinced that they have not only left a unique mark in our history, but will also serve as a motivating example for future generations to live in virtue and die with dignity.
